Long probe thermometer with extra large, easy-to-read LCD. Waterproof digital thermometer designed to run through dishwashing machines to check final rinse cycle temperatures. The sensor, located at the end of the reduced tip, provides the most accurate reading available in a digital pocket test and has a quick response time of less than 6 seconds.
This thermometer can read a vast temperature range from -40 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, and is accurate within 1 degree. It has a large, easy-to-read digital display that shows accurate temperature readings in 6 seconds or less. The 4" stainless steel stem with 1.19 mm reduced tip is easy to clean and can penetrate into thin or delicate foods. This instrument is waterproof to withstand dishwashing cycles, and is made with an antimicrobial additive that prevents the growth of bacteria. It also features min, max, and hold modes, which make it easy to lock current temperatures, or recall previous minimum and maximum temperatures. This thermometer automatically turns off after 10 minutes of non-use to preserve power, and alerts you when the battery is low. It runs on a 1.5V LR44 battery (included).
